Personal Training

Here’s how it works:

We’ll start with a fitness and health assessment. This is a simple one-to-one sit down where I ask you some health and lifestyle questions and take some baseline observations which we’ll take great pleasure in improving on in following weeks. Then we’ll identify your short-term targets and long-term goals, whether that means looking good by the pool in the summer or seeing off the competition at the Great North Run in September.

Fitness-wise everyone is different and everyone will start from a different place. I will tailor a plan specifically to your requirements. From there we will meet regularly for an hour or more at a time. That might be an boxing session and bodyweight workout in your living room or an interval session in the countryside – all you will need are comfortable clothes, some water, a towel and a pair of trainers. And when you’ve got your breath back, we can look over your diet, I am qualified to advise on nutrition for weightloss and sport, so in addition to exercise I am happy to help you get what you’re eating right too.

Your homework will be to follow the personalised plan I make for you. I’m there to help and will give you as much guidance and motivation as you can take, but ultimately it’s down to you to make sure you keep burning those calories. If you want to go from being a sedentary couch potato to walking down the aisle looking amazing in six months’ time, I can show you how to do it.

Every 6-12 weeks we will have a further fitness assesment, to monitor your progression and achievements and to re-evaluate your program.

What then?

Some people are happy spend 12 weeks getting down to fighting weight for their holiday and I’ll never see them again. Others realise that getting fit is a way of life and are constantly wanting to improve their fitness.
